Women & Work - facilitator Nettie Norrish
Have you lost your job or are thinking about returning to work?
Are you unsure about what job you’d like to do, or what you’d be good at?
Or, do you want to build your confidence and your skills to return to work?
This course is for any woman (particularly those with children but not limited to) who has recently lost their job, who is looking to return to work following a career break or trying to find employment for the first time.
It could be that you don't really know where to start looking for a job, not sure what skills you have (especially if you are looking for a different type of job), how you can find work to fit around childcare, or have applied for jobs without success.
This course is for women who want to:

If you (or someone you know) needs some support, then sign up for our FREE Confident to Work course.
Through short guided exercises we will help you build your self-confidence and a healthy self-belief in your own abilities and we will help you to discover your strengths, skills and abilities and tap into what motivates and inspires you. We will help you to reflect on and what needs to happen to move past things that hold you back and find clues that will help you work out what you might want to do now and in the future.
We can also help you to explore existing and future career choices, together with practical support on job searching, writing (or updating ) your CV, and applying for jobs.
The course is run via two, 2-hour Zoom sessions. and an activity workbook will be sent out for you to complete in between sessions at your own pace.

Functional Skills Development
English Conversation Class - For English as a Second Language (ESOL) Clients
facilitator - Mehjabeen Rais
This Conversation class is for beginners with some English who are looking to improve their spoken Language to help get into Employment. Clients must be actively looking for work. This course is also a useful refresher for anyone who hasn’t been to an ESOL class for a while. Classes will be held once a week via a 2 hour zoom session.

If you need help with your computer skills our friendly team can support you to improve and develop your confidence using the internet and online services.
Offering one-to-one support with a skills coach or referral to our partner agencies for more structured training.
