How we use your personal information:
Here at Works for Us we take your privacy and confidentiality seriously, and ensure that any personal information you provide to us is kept in a secure environment to maintain your privacy as a client. The personal information you provide at registration includes, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, learning or health difficulties, where you live, what types of employment/education/training volunteering roles you are looking for and any additional information you may provide to assist our support service to you.
This information is used by Works for Us to monitor your progression, for statistical analysis and to determine the need for the services we provide.
This information may be shared with other partner organisations especially funding bodies for purposes relating to anonymised statistical analysis, outcomes monitoring and with consent, some client case studies. Other information may also be shared with client consent, to enable client’s referrals to other services including the Your MK NEP team, Rethink, BLMK Mind, MK College and specific volunteering opportunities. To comply with funder’s requirements, information must be kept securely for between 7 – 10 years. Once this time has elapsed then the documentation will be destroyed and or erased.
As part of the new GDPR Legislation (May 2018) we are now required to ask if you would like us to contact you with details of other services we provide including, updates on courses, events and similar news. We currently email, telephone or text people to promote our training courses, 121 support and supported volunteering opportunities. If we do not have your consent then we may not be able to contact you. We therefore are asking all clients to complete a new consent forms or resubmit their details online.
